*I don’t know if this exquisite painting was included in the exhibition of Scott-Miller’s art at the Garden Museum in London, which ended recently. Sadly, I missed it, but at least I can look at her paintings online.

This week’s recommendations are more left-field than usual, and acting on both may require some effort, even expense, on your part, dear readers, but in my humble opinion both are worth it.
